Job Role : Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (2 Shift/Double Days)
We are looking for Multi-Skilled Plant Maintenance Engineers to join the team and support the next phase of the site’s expansion. This varied role will ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out to the schedule as well as addressing breakdowns while working on a 2 Shift pattern (Monday – Friday; 06.00 – 14.00, followed by 14.00 -22.00; rotating weekly).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities:
- Assist with the layout of the site, being involved with and understanding the installation of new services during the build stage of the development of this new site phase.
- Assist with the layout of the equipment, assisting with installation of new equipment and understanding the production process.
- Fault finding and problem solving on a variety of production and site equipment.
- Create and carried out planned/preventative maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with Production teams and identify, implement and optimise improvements.
- Carry out engineering improvement projects when required.
- Actively train skills out through standardising work practices to both Production Operatives (TPM) and other Shift Engineers.
- Work with suppliers to ensure effective install and operation of new and existing plant/machinery
- Provide technical assistance to aid in the verification of new equipment.
Qualifications/Experience:
Essential:
- Experience with plant/equipment maintenance in a Manufacturing environment.
- HNC Engineering qualification.
- Experience in TPM and PPM
- Experienced in both mechanical and electrical fault finding.
- Experience in a fast-paced Maintenance Department.
Desirable:
- Experience with plant/equipment maintenance in Food Manufacturing
- Experience with site services such as Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Air Handling Units, Wastewater Treatment
- HND Engineering Qualification
